Description:
In stark contrast to the Leopard tank, the E-100 Jagdpanzer took the heavy chassis of the E-100 and removed the turret, replaced it with a large casemate structure mounting the heaviest gun possible, a 17cm gun that weighed over 7 tonnes alone.

Like the E-100, production of these massive vehicles was seen as a priority for the newly reunited German people, in case the Soviets (or anyone else for that matter) decided that a unified Germany was not in the best interests of the rest of Europe.

Massive Firepower
The 17cm gun fired the latest generation armour piercing, capped, ballistic capped, high explosive (or APCBCHE) shell that improved both the accuracy and performance of the shell compared with older armour piercing ammunition.

Armoured Casemate
Heavy armour and a massive gun meant that a large casemate, or armoured structure, was needed to house the 17cm gun and give the crew room to load the massive shells.

Clash of Steel is based on an alternative history where the war in Europe finishes in 1944 with the surrender of Germany, but restarts just four years later in the face of Soviet aggression. Players take to the tabletop, fielding their chosen force in epic tank-on-tank combat using highly detailed multi-part plastic miniatures; battling over objectives in an attempt to control the battlefield and defeat their enemies!
