The First Chapter is the first set of cards released.

Disney Lorcana is a trading card game (TCG) that features Disney characters in both original and reimagined art styles that live in an all-new world with unique and magical gameplay.

The game is set in the rich and fantastical world of Lorcana, a combination of the words "lore" and "arcana". Players will take on the mantle of Illumineer, a powerful sorcerer, and band together Disney characters from Lorcana's "The Great Illuminary", a treasury of all Disney songs and stories ever made.

To play Disney Lorcana, each player will need a deck of sixty cards. Ready-to-play starter decks contain a preconstructed deck with a specific card list. If you’re new to trading card games, or if you want to experience the game with a deck designed and tested by Team Lorcana, this is a good place to start.

This starter deck pairs Sapphire’s intelligence and strategic style with Steel’s straightforward and tough defence, making for an intimidating combination. This deck will keep you one step ahead of your opponent and help you stand strong in the face of challenges. Use the powers of Sapphire to grow your inkwell, while the stoic Steel characters stand tall and powerful.
